COVID-19 POLICY

COVID19 STAFF AND PATIENT SCREENING AND EXPOSURE PROTECTION POLICY

Dear All,

Due to the recent Corona virus pandemic, we are implementing some internal procedures to reduce the risk of transmission of corona virus to our team and to the community that uses our premises whenever needed. We understand that this is a very difficult and challenging unprecipitated time in human history. We note from all of the global data that is emerging that the key lifesaving determinant seems to be reducing the spread of infection.

We have implemented a few clinic base policy and procedures in order to ensure that we reduce our risk of transmission to the best of our ability.

We thank our team and the wider community for understanding the measures that we have adopted and hope that we can all take comfort in doing our best to reduce the impact of COVID19 to the Australian community.

CHULLORA CLINIC

A desk has been set up in the vestibule outside the clinic, in the common area passageway of the building. One of our team members will be stationed at this desk and will be screening ALL people who wish to enter the building. Our team member will perform a touchless temperature reading on the forehead of anyone who wishes to enter the building. If the person being tested has a temperature of 37.5C° or greater, we kindly ask them to not enter the building and to present for detailed COVID19 medical screening at a COVID19 clinic. We will provide a handout with the location of these clinics at the time.

CABRAMATTA CLINIC

Entry is through the back doors of the clinic via the back carpark only. Prior to entry, one of our team members will check the temperature of the entrant and allow all of those people to enter whose temperature is 37.5C° or below. For anyone whose temperature is 37.5C° or above, they will be provided with a handout to attend an appropriate COVID19 healthcare testing facility.

SYDNEY CITY CBD ROOMS

Prior to entering, one of our team members will check the temperature of the entrant and allow all of those people to enter whose temperature is 37.5C° or below. For anyone whose temperature is 37.5C° or above, they will be provided with a handout to attend an appropriate COVID19 healthcare testing facility.

TELEHEALTH

Where possible, we encourage you to make an appointment with our clinic team for a telehealth review which can be conducted as either a phone conference or a video conference as required. Our team will be able to help you with a communication technology method and time that suits your needs.

ISOLATION

As we all know, there is no current cure for COVID19. Whilst the world works frantically for a vaccine, the best-known survival measure is ISOLATION. Isolation means stay home, don’t go out and don’t meet people until this pandemic is over.

We thank you for your understanding and support during these socially difficult and challenging times. We hope and pray that Australian’s are able to navigate through this pandemic successfully and without harm.

HELP STOP THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 AND PRACTISE SOCIAL DISTANCING AT ALL TIMES.
